Chalfont Park Softball Awards 2004

The awards were held on October 15th at the Village Hall Chalfont St Peter.  A great night was had by one and all.

Martin (Coach) - Did the talking on the night. Neil (Captain) - Handed over the trophies.

Painey and Cash receiving their League Winners Medals. They didn't make it to the league bash where the rest of the team got theirs.

Clare - 2004 Leading Walker - Rather than taking swings, Clare unselfishly consistently waited for bad balls to get her on base.

Dan - 2004 Leading RBIs - Runs Batted In, which are softball's equivalent of assists, but in softball more important than runs.

Cash - 2004 Leading Batting Percentage - Got on base more consitently than anyone else on the team.

Geoff - 2004 Leading Home Run Hitter - The slugger of the team.

Woody - 2004 Most Improved Female - The team's regular 3rd base player.

Geoff - 2004 Most Improved Male - Outfielder, 1st baseman with batting improving all the way through the season.

Audrey (Sternick) - 2004 Female MVP - Most Valuable Player. Made left centre field her own.

Painey - 2004 Male MVP - Great season at pitcher.

Helen and Neil - Taken across the table and looks strangely like they got awards as well. They didn't.

Wotto and Ruth - Later on in the evening when no doubt a few drinks were having an effect.
