Chalfont produced another solid performance against a higher division team in the shape of local rivals, Amersham. The home team began strongly and soon won a series of penalty corners but were unable to convert them due to impressive Amersham defending. However, with 12 minutes gone, Peters slipped the ball to Brothwell who thumped the ball home into the corner of the goal to take the lead. Amersham replied with determination and ten minutes later, Ruth Wilkie pounced on a loose ball at a penalty corner to equalise. Indeed, in the following minutes, Chalfont were forced to clear off their goal line and Amersham hit the post. However, good work from Watson and from goalkeeper Katie McCoy ensured that no further goals were conceded. After half time, Chalfont caught their opponents napping. Ottaway's clever pass down the wing found Pearce who was able to thread the ball into the D to find Brettle. Brettle then calmly finished the move and Chalfont moved ahead again. For the remainder of the half, neither team was able to breach the opposition's defences again.

The women's 2nd XI lost 2-1 to Rickmansworth, Natalie Heaton converting Fay Rider's pass for Chalfont's only goal.
