FLAMES CUP GAME
Chalfont Park Flames upset the league
winning Thames Valley Outlaws in their
league cup quarter final. Flames took
advantage of some off form pitching to take
an early five run lead and managed to hold
on for a 14-12 win that takes them into a
semi-final (and hopefully Final) on Cup
Finals day on Sunday October 2nd.

FITNESS
Fitness training is being
run for ALL ladies at the Clubhouse on
Monday nights - please make every effort to
attend - after the success of all the teams
last year it is important to not let the
standard slip as all the matches are likely
to be much harder this year. Adam and Dave
are doing a lot to try to help you all so
please reward their effort (and yours last
year) by coming along to get ready for the
new season!
START OF SEASON 05/06
The Hockey season starts
in 2 weeks - Open Day is on Saturday 3rd
September - more details will appear on the
forum. Matches start the following week - so
please get in touch with Captains now to let
them know your availability for September
and beyond. The sooner you let them know
that you are about for matches the easier it
will be for them to organise!

GOLF DAY
I'm arranging an
opportunity for a bit of golf for anyone
interested. Anyone is welcome, as long as
you know which end of the club to use! Feel
free to invite guest(s) if you want to make
your own four ball. Details below:-
Day: Tuesday 20th September, 11am (first tee
off time).
Venue: Thorney Park Golf Club, Iver.
Cost: £24 includes 18 holes golf, light
buffet afterwards and prizes (nearest pin
etc).
Book the time off work and confirm your
place by Thursday 15th Sept (sooner the
better please), then I will confirm your tee
time. Also let me know your handicap so I
can organise the fourball's.
