The club are unable to field a 2XI this weekend, 23rd August, against Windsor II due to the players making themselves unavailable for selection in protest at the bans handed out to Razaq Ishaq and Asim Ahmed of four and ten matches respectively.
Whilst it is accepted that there would be some fallout from the abandoned game against British Airways, the punishment given to both Razaq and Asim are, in our opinion on the basis of the evidence provided, excessive and unwarranted. With no further recourse to appeal, the players have decided to make this protest in complete support of their fellow team mates.
Further forfeiture of the two remaining fixtures cannot be ruled out at this time.
