Welcome to the
home page of Chalfont St. Peter Cricket Club
The club dates
back to the middle of the nineteenth century and is currently
enjoying a renaissance after a few difficult years. We play
our home matches at Chalfont Park, one of the most beautiful cricket
grounds in the country, and we now have a new state of the art
clubhouse as well.
We field three teams in the Thames
Valley League, the 1st XI play in Division 2B and the 2nd XI in
Division 4B, having won promotion in the 2002 season, and a 3XI who
have joined the league this year. We also three Sunday
teams, the 1st XI playing in the Chiltern Sunday League and the
Buckinghamshire Skinner Cup competition, and the 2nd and 3rd XI
playing friendly matches only.
We also have a thriving junior
section, with teams at Under 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 17. |
