Matters Arising From Previous Minutes

The minutes of the 2003 AGM were read and accepted.

Chairman’s Report

Matthew Stevenson said that David Banner had resigned as chairman in June, and that he had been acting as temporary chairman since then.

Secretary’s Report

Matthew Stevenson submitted a written report (see attached).

Treasurer’s Report

Murray Scott submitted written accounts (see attached).

Club Captains’ Reports

Zamir Khan and Rahul Punj gave verbal reports for the Saturday and Sunday 1st XI respectively, much along the lines of what was said in the secretary’s report. David Peters and Dan Webb submitted written reports for the Saturday and Sunday 2nd XI respectively (see attached).

Juniors’ Report

Phil Noot said that we had done reasonably well during 2003 at Under 11, 12 and 13, but the Under 14s had only played a couple of matches, due to poor availability and bad luck with the weather. Next season, we will be running five teams, at Under 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15. He now has four fathers/managers to help him, Keith Neave, Clint Fox, Pat Waters and one of the parents of the Under 11s. Matthew Stevenson thanked him for his outstanding efforts on the club’s behalf and asked all club members to try to come down on weekend mornings and help out with coaching and organisation if they possibly could.
