GIRLS U15 - CUP SEMI

The Girls U15 are playing in the semi-final of the EHA Cup on Sunday at Newlands. After beating Canterbury 4-1 at home in the previous round, they entertain Surbiton at 1pm for a place in the final of this national competition. The Girls would appreciate a huge crowd to cheer them on to victory.


UMPIRING COURSE

We are holding a course for anyone wanting to become an umpire, or for anyone just wanting to gain a better understanding of the rules. The course will be held at the clubhouse on Tuesday 26th April and Tuesday 3rd May, evenings. ANNUAL DINNER

As you all know, the Annual Dinner is this Saturday, 16th April.

As usual it will be a great night in celebration of the end of the hockey season, so see you there to enjoy the full sit down dinner, Disco, speeches and awards and full licensed bar, the evening starts with drinks at 7pm, and last dance is at 12:30a.m.

CRICKET NETS

The cricket season is fast approaching and anyone wishing to get in some net practice will be pleased to know that the Thursday night sessions at the club between 6.00pm and 8.00pm have just started and will be running now every Thursday evening throughout the season. Anyone is welcome to come along and join in.

Before next weekend's first round of friendly fixtures, there is also an extended net practice on the square this Sunday (17th) between 11.00am and 3.00pm. Any newcomers wishing to play this season but unable to make this Sunday's practice please contact David Peters on david.peters99@tiscali.co.uk or 01753-890497.

PRE-SEASON TRAINING

Pre-season training continues for the Phoenix and Flames (our new team) this Sunday. The session will start and 3.30pm will run for the usual couple of hours. As with all training sessions everyone is welcome regardless to how experienced they are.
