EHA MENS VASE SEMI-FINAL
Thanks to all those that have
supported the Men's 1st XI this season, we were
unfortunately beaten in the Semi-Final 3-1 by
Eastbourne who proved to be a very strong side.
The team played exceptionally well and everyone
gave their all, producing a great hockey match
to watch. I am sure that all there had a good
day.
In particular I would like to
thank all those that came to support the team,
and that have done so much during the season to
spur us on, and the team themselves, including
all those that played throughout the season to
make the cup side as enjoyable to play in and as
successful as it was!

The open day on Saturday was
a success, with several new players coming down,
juniors and seniors. In the afternoon, we had a
net on the square, which gave everyone a chance
to have a bat and bowl and get rid of the winter
cobwebs. The first matches are this weekend: if
you want to be selected, please give your
availability to one of the captains (see below).
And, if you're not available this weekend,
please let us know when you are.
Saturday 1st XI Captain:
Zamir Khan, telephone 0208 843 9572 (h) or 07949
523927 (m)
Saturday 2nd XI Captain:
David Peters, telephone 01753 890497 (h)
Sunday 1st XI Captain: Rahul
Punj, telephone 07958 633117 (m)
Sunday 2nd XI Captain: Dan

CLUB
SUPPER
Club
Supper went off with its usual dancing, drinking
and celebrating last Saturday and I think I can
safely say a good time was had by all! I would
just like to say a big thank you to Warren
Scott, Adam Laubser, Tony Hewston, John Finch,
Andy Saunders, Sean Cremin, Annie Brothwell,
Catherine Watson, Fay Rider, Sarah Wood and Mike
Burge for selling the tickets for me, it made
organising the event a whole lot easier!! Thanks
also to Helen Kitto for helping with the
decorations. Finally, a further thank you to
Catherine Watson for single handedly sorting out
this year's raffle and to Sara Daughtrey and
Cathy Stewart for selling tickets on the night.
