Thanks to everyone who has
helped out with the ground preparations over the
last few weeks, especially Rahul and Shabs, who
have been doing a fantastic job and cutting the
square. The season starts on Saturday with an
open day, I look forward to seeing you all,
juniors in the morning and seniors in the
afternoon. The first matches are the following
weekend, 24th/25th April.

PRESIDENTS DAY MATCHES
Here are the details of the
matches that will be played at Newlands on
Presidents Day.
11:00 Ladies 1st -v-
Presidents XI
12:30 Mens Vintage -v- Boys U18
13:30 Mens 1st -v- Presidents XI
SOFTBALL
There is a practice tonight
at the club. Anyone interested in having a go is
very welcome to turn up. The session starts at
7pm.
There is also likely to be another friendly game
sometime next week. More details will be
included in next weeks newsletter. |

PRESIDENTS DAY AND ANNUAL SPRING BALL
On
Saturday the 17th April CPSA will be hosting an
array of events. During the day ACHC will host
their annual Presidents Day matches at Newlands
and down at the clubhouse will be the CSP
Cricket Club 'Open Day', along with teas and
refreshments for all.
The
CPSA annual dinner dance kicks off in the
evening. This fabulous event includes a 3 course
meal, speeches awards, raffle, dancing, bouncy
castle. Frilly frocks and penguin suits
requested.
The
tickets for this event need to be purchased NOW
