It was thought - including by some of current senior members of the
club that Chalfont St. Peter Hockey Club was first affiliated to the
Chalfont Park site in 1968 - with rumours of a bit of history prior to
this at the Epileptic Centre. However, we have recently come
across some interesting articles and photos. Over the coming year
(s!) we will be putting up a lot more information about Chalfont St.
Peter Hockey Club (and Amersham) and organising the existing photos into
a more methodical order. In addition, I'm hoping the most current
senior member Peter Colwill will do some research and put together a
comprehensive history of the club. The left logo is from the 1960s the
right hand one from its inception - roughly 1917 - scanned from a cloth
badge. |
